edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros

If you haven’t heard of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, it’s about time! One of our very favorite bands, they recreate the sounds of the 60’s and 70’s with a slightly modern twist. Edward Sharpe’s music has even been compared to The Beatles and The Doors. On their album Up From Below is a brilliant song simply called Home. You can’t help but feel happy listening to it!

We were so inspired, that we have new tshirts with the chorus from Home printed on them! “Home is wherever I’m with you.” We love that such a simple and sweet phrase can carry so much weight.
available through facebook or in our store for $32

“Alabama, Arkansas, I do love my Ma & Pa
Not the way that I do love you
Holy roly, me, oh my, you’re the apple of my eye
Girl, I’ve never loved one like you
Man, oh man, you’re my best friend, I scream it to the nothingness
There ain’t nothin’ that I need
Well, hot & heavy, pumpkin pie, chocolate candy, Jesus Christ
There ain’t nothin’ please me more than you”

“Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is wherever I’m with you
La la la la, take me Home
Baby, I’m coming Home”
