ONE. SPIKED LEMONADE
2 cups lemon-flavored sparkling water or club soda, chilled
1/2 cup citrus-flavored vodka, chilled
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange liqueur
Garnish: lemon slices
Prep: Combine first 5 ingredients in a large pitcher. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish each serving with a lemon slice, if desired.
TWO. ROSEMARY SPIKED LEMONADE
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 (8-inch) rosemary sprigs
1/2 cup vodka
Chilled club soda or seltzer
Garnish: lemon slices and 8 (3-inch) rosemary sprigs
Prep: Bring lemon juice, sugar, and rosemary to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Then, reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Discard rosemary sprigs. Fill 8 (8 oz.) glasses halfway with ice. Divide syrup (about 2 tablespoons each) among glasses and add vodka (1 tablespoon each). Top off with club soda. Garnish each serving with a rosemary sprig and a slice of lemon dipped in sugar, if desired.
THREE. HONEY BOURBON LEMONADE
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 quarts + 2 cups of water, divided
2 cups of fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 cup American Honey Bourbon
1 lemon sliced into rounds, for garnish
Prep: In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar and 2 cups of water to a simmer and stir until sugar is completely dissolved. In a large, pitcher combine the simple syrup, lemon juice, American Honey bourbon and 1 quart of water. Taste and add additional water to taste. Serve in ice-filled glasses and garnish with lemon slices.
