Fayetteville, Arkansas, January 2016 – Local owner of Riffraff, Kirsten Blowers, was just announced on Forbes annual 30 Under 30 List, a group of the nation’s “brightest young entrepeneurs, breakout talents, and change agents.” Blowers is in the Retail & Ecommerce category compiled of individuals “reinventing how we shop, online and off.”

In seven short years, Blowers has turned Riffraff and its online counterpart,, into a thriving small business with a strong local and national presence. Riffraff has made waves in the boutique world with its innovative execution of social media marketing and unique ability to connect with the consumer. Riffraff has created a shopping environment where one shops with Riffraff rather than at Riffraff.

Recognition from Forbes is well deserved in Blower’s case. When asked about her stance on the award she says, “It’s an honor to be recognized on such a huge scale, but this isn’t just a reflection of my blood, sweat, and tears, it’s a reflection of the hard work of every girl who’s ever worked at Riffraff.” She is clearly excited about making the list. On instagram she shared with her followers, “stoked to find out I’m on the @Forbes #30under30 list for retail + e-commerce! my name is in the same size font as Leon Bridges, Selena Gomez and Fetty Wap! …I’ll take it!”

2016 is sure to be another big year for Kirsten Blowers as she oversees her two Riffraff storefronts,, wholesale line Charlie Southern, and is soon to launch a second wholesale line Friday+Saturday.
