How To Transition Your Winter Wardrobe For Warmer Weather

Weather is weird. It is always unpredictable and can change at any time. Just last week it was freezing cold and now this week is nice and sunny. SO the question stands – how can you dress weather appropriate in this weird winter weather? Here are our four favorite trends that will keep you sweat free and super stylish this winter.

Sweater & Shorts

Don’t pack up those adorable new sweaters you just got but never wore just yet. One of our favorite transitional trends is pairing those sweaters with shorts and your favorite boot (tall or short). We styled our See the Spots Leopard Sweater with our favorite One Teaspoon Outlaws Cutoff Shorts. We love this sweater because it’s light weight and perfect for year-round weather.

Jackets

Yup, you can wear jackets when it is nice and sunny too. By adding a jacket it can ensure you won’t get cold if the wind picks up but can easily be taken off when needed. How adorable is our On the Edge Leather Jacket? We paired it with the same One Teaspoon Outlaws Cutoff Shorts and our Chill Time Racer-back Tank Top. There is something about leather jackets that just make your inner badass stand out and we are all about it.

Long-sleeved Dresses

This is probably one of the easiest ways to dress up without much thought. Long sleeved dresses are perfect for everyday life activities and going out. You throw them on, put on some shoes and you’re ready to go. Having your arms covered will keep you warm while the flow-y bottom won’t make you too hot. We are featuring two of our adorable long-sleeved dresses in the picture above; the Wide Open Spaces Dress and the Varsity Prep Sweater Dress.

Pants & Short Sleeves

This duo is a classic yet still one of our favorites. Simple yet trendy, this pair will never go out of style. Wear your favorite pants with a tank or short sleeved top to avoid getting too hot. We suggest bringing a scarf just in case you do get cold you can wrap up in it.  Featured are our bomb Chloe High Rise Black Pants (they literally look amazing on everyone), the Wildfox Amore Hearts Middle Tee, and our favorite plaid scarf – the Watch the Sunset Plaid Scarf. We love this scarf because it literally can be unfolded into a super soft and cozy blanket.
